Songwriter... Yeah ok, but can you sing???

It's no easy task breaking into the music industry, in any area. The competetion is steep so be prepared to pay your dues. One thing I plan to be before I die is become a professional songwriter and win a Grammy. In fact, I think I am truly blessed with this gift. However, I'm not so strong vocally. And that's a problem. When submitting demos these days, it almost needs to sound radio ready...well not almost, it does. That's what the competition is doing (those who have been in the business for years and have all the resources). Even though you may just be a songwriter, the vocals need to be on point, the arrangements need to be on point, EVERYTHING needs to be on point or your Grammy deserving lyrics and melody might quickly be chucked off to the side...
